Merry Christmas

Questo era il Natale del 1960 e quegli occhi, allora come ora, guardavano il mondo senza paura.

Il mondo si può guardare con gli “occhi della paura” o con gli “occhi dell’amore”.

Sta a noi decidere.

Possiamo guardare all’altro con gli “occhi della paura”, guardarlo con diffidenza, tenerlo a debita distanza, mettere quante più barriere possibili tra noi e lui, emarginarlo e anche colpevolizzarlo della nostra paura.

Oppure possiamo guardare all’altro con gli “occhi dell’amore”, con la consapevolezza che siamo tutti parte di un UNO indivisibile e che ciascuno di noi è essenziale per il TUTTO, che l’evoluzione di noi esseri umani passa attraverso la condivisione, l’abitudine a fare domande, a confrontarsi, a esplorare insieme e a non obbedire MAI fideisticamente.

In questo Natale i miei auguri speciali vanno a tutti coloro che saranno guardati con gli “occhi della paura” e che a causa di questi “sguardi di paura” festeggeranno il Natale soli, lontani dai propri cari o dagli amici perché esclusi ed emarginati.

A Voi dico: “Non abbandonate la speranza!”

Chi ha paura muore tante volte, mentre chi non ne ha, muore una volta sola (cit.)

Dopo le promesse condizionate, le false illusioni, le risate allegre e false, le ricompense equivoche ed elusive, dopo le minacce velate, dopo tutto questo, anche quegli “occhi di paura” un giorno si sveglieranno e scopriranno che solo gli “occhi dell’amore” possono vincere.

Almeno, io voglio sperare sia così.
