Just call me Mother Grandmother
Posted March 15th, 2017
In ITALY it only takes 7 minutes to lose your son and/or daughter.
The verdict from the Court of Appeals in Turin, which confirmed the adoptability of Gabriella Carsano and Luigi Deambrosis' daughter, meaning, that they can't raise their own daughter, is INHUMANE and ABOMINABLE and is the total opposite of the most fundamental of human rights.
The motivation regarding this verdict is, are you ready (?): the parent's ages (today they are 63 and 75 years of age, and, at the time of the verdict were 7 years younger) and the presumed "inadequate and tainted capability to handle the upbringing of a minor, not only emotionally, but also considered inexperienced."
The little girl, born to her parents by artificial insemination, was taken from them after a complaint was made by their neighbours who had an argument with them, claiming the Father left his daughter in the car for 7 minutes, while he was taking in the groceries from the garage. The following verifications that they abandoned their daughter, were denied, since both parents were going back and forth and, in the meantime preparing her baby bottle.
The Turin Court of Appeal's verdict said that "the little girl nevertheless was in a 'not indifferent' danger and that the couple, to this day, has no idea how grave this happening is and are in no way capable of self-criticism, if not in a generic way." While taking everything in mind, being abandoned is an indelible part of this little girl's stirring story and even though her parents are not at fault, there is no going back, whereas she is now living with a new family.
Her parents are considered "parents-grandparents" in the Italian magazines, just to prove to you that nobody is denied a label in Italy.
Have you ever read in these exact same magazines/newspapers, anything of the sort about Luciano Pavarotti who became a Father at 68 years of age? Of course you haven't.
And Pavarotti is in fabulous company: Charlie Caplin at 73; Robert De Niro at 68; Pablo Picasso at 68; Clint Eastwood at 66; George Lucas (Star Wars) at 69; Rod Stewart at 66; Donald Trump at 62.
And what about all of those parents who leave their precious little ones with Grandma and Grandpa?!?!
Should we take them away as well, and give them up for adoption?
Or maybe the real culprit is that Gabriella's daughter was born by heterologous fertilization and with this, she is the child of a lesser God?
I haven't read of any (not even 1!!!!) politician who was outraged by a verdict that could belong on a criminal record of the atrocity against human rights, comparing it to the Nazi's.
I am not astonished.
In Italy there is no respect whatsoever for those considered "diverse".
It is considered diverse whomever is far from the limits of established canons by the core dominant culture.
Diverse is he/she who becomes a parent at an older age,
diverse is a Mother who needs artificial insemination or a surrogate,
diverse is being a homosexual who aims at having the same rights as a Heterosexual,
diverse is an immigrant.
In Italy, besides sexual descimination, the colour of your skin, and religion, we must add, from today on, the one related to AGE.
From now on, please call me "Mother Grandmother" and sue me for leaving my twins alone for 7 minutes.
Lift up your hand, if any of you have never once in your life! But I have the galling problem of being old.
Below is the speech I gave during the television show, Nemicamatissima, with the exact words I said.
I think that the most exciting, creative and truthworthy human act
the CLASHING of different opinions,
between different shared visions of what is RIGHT and what is not
between what is ACCEPTABLE and what is not ACCEPTABLE
between what is PERMISSABLE and what is not PERMISSABLE
of what is MORAL and what is not MORAL
and so on.
Just thinking of the idea of "harmony and universal consent" gives me a true aroma of nasty absolutism, to put each and every one of us on the same basis, to make us identical.
And in the long run this is the fatal blow,
because if there really were HARMONY and UNIVERSAL CONSENT,
Only ONE WOULD BE NEEDED:
HIM or HER, would have all of the wisdom,
everything that is needed,
beauty, goodness, wisdom, the truth.
I believe that we have the duty to be both realists, with moral values.
We need to reconsider the definition 'incurable' when speaking of MEN AND WOMEN BEING DIVERSE.
DIVERSITY, for any reason, religion, sexual preferences, and race, is the same reason we exist.
Instead of condemning who is DIVERSE, we should thank him/her, since it is thanks to him/her that we exist.
