A few months ago, I interviewed Alessia Distante, a young woman who developed pericarditis after her second dose of Moderna.

Hi, my name is Alessia, I'm 24 years old, and I was damaged by the COVID vaccine. After having two doses of Moderna, I had two bouts of pericarditis and a spontaneous pneumothorax, and although they went away, I still have heart pain as if everything were still inflamed.

Plus tachycardia. I've seen countless specialists, and no one could pinpoint the cause until they told me about COVID vaccine side effects, which unfortunately some people experience. I've tried supplements, IVs, ozone therapy, and apheresis abroad, which cost me €2,000 per session.

I've had six, but they didn't work because I discovered from a test they only do in Milan that the vaccine is in my cells as well as my blood, so it's even more difficult. My only hope is stem cells, which unfortunately they only do abroad, like apheresis.

Because here, vaccine damage isn't the reason. The problem is that it costs €7,000, and my parents have nothing left, so they had to sell the gold they had at home, ask relatives and ask for loans from the bank for the 6 apheresis sessions I had done.

I also thank you for helping me, but now I need your help once again. Unfortunately, I have no other choice. There's no other way to cleanse the cells, and I can't work with the pain I'm in. I've even looked for work from home, a secretary, or a call center, but I can't find anything.

I even tried to get the €2,000 vaccine damage compensation, but I need €3,000 between a lawyer and a coroner, so I can't do anything. It makes me even angrier because the government should pay, but they're still silent.

I can't live for myself anymore, even just going out twice a week. I already need help with washing or getting dressed sometimes. Plus, they've now diagnosed me with neuropathy. But the worst thing, besides the pain, is not being able to be myself anymore because I can't dance and sing, which were my passions.

And since 2023, I've been like this, and the further I go, the more my hope fades. I'm surviving by not living. I don't want to beg you or try to convince you. I believe that those who understand will understand. Even a little is enough, and that little bit can perhaps, little by little, help me and prevent me from losing the little hope of life that still remains, also because the smallest things are the biggest.

And if I resolve this issue, I'll want to study naturopathy to join an anti-vax association to help people like me, because I believe there's nothing more beautiful than helping someone who's been through similar things to you. I think that's also the purpose of life. Thanks for listening, and for anyone who wants to help me.
