Armed to the milk teeth....   The reason I started thinking about writing this article was because it literally scares the shit out of me anything concerning Gun Laws in the United States. Adults of every kind, little elderly ladies with mini guns hidden in their purses, fanatical teenagers day dreaming that are in a video game, the distinct man with his suit and tie, and and .....have a gun or guns in their posession. Is it a fad?! After all of the incidents that have "Jokers" and other masked teenagers roaming in...

Gay themes .....   Singapore   When I read "Row erupts over pulling of books with gay themes", I was too curious. Growing up in San Francisco and living 24/7 with my best friends, who happened to be gay boys (remember I was their "fag hag"), I just didn't get it. Many artists from the Italian Television brag that they support gays. I must be honest since I am wondering out loud or at this point, in writing.....what is their true reason? Some of them have not even EVER frequented someone gay or even...

A baby delivered in a Thai taxi ....   Bangkok, Thailand   Since the capital's notorious traffic jams mean pregnant women sometimes give birth on the way to the hospital ..... a specially trained police unit has delivered more than 120 babies at the roadside and has escorted 2,600 pregnant women to the hospital .... My first thought?!? ......Lungo Tevere and attempting to arrive at Fatebenefratelli Hospital on Isola Tiberina!!!   HP...

The dark underbelly of the Internet... Internet has been around for nearly 3 decades and it has changed our lives vastly. To be blunt, in the good and in the bad .... Zelda Williams, Robin Williams' daughter announced that she was quitting Twitter because of troll attacks. The veil of anonymity has allowed the Internet to bring out the evil that many people have inside of them. Until now they had nowhere to shout out their perverted thoughts.....before it was hate mail or a nasty comment written on a bulletin board at school or wo...

New Delhi, India   Just at the thought, I get chills going up and down my spine... A Minister from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ruling party has said rapes happen "accidently" ..... Do I need to rewrite this phrase again or did you get it the first time around?! Ramsevak Paikra, the home Minister of Chhattisgarh state who is responsable for law and order, said that rapes did not happen deliberately. "Such incidents happen accidently", was his absurd response after bein...

Italian team + roadside food = ......   Sarah Karacs for South China Morning Post In a small town deep in central China, a man hangs a dead dog from a tree on the side of the road. He pulls out a knife, cuts off chunks of flesh that he flings into a bag, and drives off on a motorbike with the quartered hound over his shoulder. For Italian filmmaker Alessandro Milini, this is the strangest image he will take away from his time on the road documenting street food from Kyrgyzstan to Hong Kong. Milini and six others arrived in ...

Lawmaker apologizes ....   Tokyo, Japan Akihiro Suzuki, a lawmaker from Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's ruling party, admitted to shouting a sex taunt at Ayaka  Shiomura, 35 years old, a young assemblywoman, during a debate on motherhood. In a case that has cast a harsh spotlight on the attitudes of many of the older men who occupy senior positions in Japanese public life, the 51 year old Suzuki said he yelled "Why don't you get married?"... After bowing embarrassingly in a public apology in front of ...

Summer Resort in dorm?! Wuhan, China   This is truly an awesome idea, it might be difficult afterwards to dismantle, but an unthinkable plan. College students attempting to survive stiffling temperatures, cool themselves off in an inflatable pool inside their dormitory!!   Temperatures are similar to the ones we live with here in my beloved Hong Kong. Yes, yes, you read 37 celsius.................but the "Real Feel" is actually 41 celsius. Believe you me, air conditioning is "a must" here, but some aren't...
