Gay themes .....

When I read "Row erupts over pulling of books with gay themes", I was too curious. Growing up in San Francisco and living 24/7 with my best friends, who happened to be gay boys (remember I was their "fag hag"), I just didn't get it.
Many artists from the Italian Television brag that they support gays. I must be honest since I am wondering out loud or at this point, in writing.....what is their true reason? Some of them have not even EVER frequented someone gay or even shown sympathy for the gay world, let alone, attemptLto fight for their rights .....
Let's get back to the article if not, I will start naming names ....
Another phrase was "We sieve through the contents of children's books, and exercise our best judgement" ...
Well, long story short, authorities in Singapore are facing an online backlash after public libraries withdrew and decided to pulp three children's book titles because they were against "family values" ....
One of them, "and tango makes three", is based on a true story of two male penquins taking care of a baby chick at Central Park Zoo in New York.
A conservative parent wrote a letter complaining to authorities and wanted the book to be taken off the shelves. "The White Swan Express: A Story About Adoption and "Who's In My Family: All About Families" were also taken off the shelves.
This decision has angered critics who say that librarians should not be deciding what is considered "pro-family" and what is not.
Let's not forget that gay sex is illegal in Singapore.
The online protest has spawned a hashtag meme - #FreeMy Library.
