The elephant in the room

Can we continue to ignore the elephant in the room?
I don't know whether it's more heartbreaking to witness a genocide or to witness the denial that a genocide is happening.
I cannot bear the idea that we are helpless in the face of the atrocious images of Palestinian children mutilated if not exterminated with conscious precision.
Let's stop remembering what happened on October 7th.
The law of retaliation has already been abundantly and shamefully applied and overcome.
Anyone who dares to open their mouth to simply say "cease fire in Gaza" or "end the genocide of the Palestinians" is silenced, marginalized or even fired with the same violence as those who bomb hospitals and civilians.
How much sadness and how much human misery.
