Asia shhh ....   Dear Asia Argento,   Please forgive my sincerity.  If you don't want to accept Selvaggia Lucarelli's view and judgement, then accept it at least from someone who, as a dancer, with discreet success (yes, I am being facetious!) for many a year on the stage, in theatre and, on television:  DANCE IS NOT YOUR FORTE, better still, to say it as Ms. Selvaggia, "you dance lousy and you are graceless". (I would say uncouth.) It wouldn't be a problem, since it isn't actually yo...

Beirut, Lebanon   Lebanese Tv host, Rima Karaki has become an online sensation after abruptly and unexpectably ending her interview with Islamist Sheikha Hani Sibai .... She asked her guest a question about how Islamic State managed to attract Christians to its ranks, after reports emerged that two had joined the militant group. He babbled on and on, dodging her questions when she said, "Focus on the current era so we don't lose time." .... He became irritated, while she at...

Odds and ends ....   Glancing at Mara's entranced face, and the euphoria of Alfonso Signorini's brouhaha while they are admiring the general outbursts of Rocco Siffredi's "tools of trade" .... I simply ask myself: "Did you really need to build up a reality show to see his penis?! Wouldn't a quick peek on Internet, from youporn onwards, satisfy your itchy curiousity?" .....  I utterly believe that "Nine 1/2 Weeks", "Basic Instinct", Bertolucci's "Last Tango in Paris", "Brokeback Mountain", Almodovar's "...

O tempora, o mores! ....   Which is the exact "cultural amount" of the Italian television users? .... Is it each and every one of the 5 and a half million people who gazed in on this years' "Island of the Famous" (?) .... Instead of continuously asking and wondering why Catherine Spaak left the television show to go and "act in a theatre production" ..... the audience should follow her example .... O tempora, o mores! .... HP          ...

The twilight of the Gods ....   Talent shows are the twilight of television today, which are extremely short on ideas .... And Raffaella Carra' is the sorrowful proof that she is living in the past, recalling her memories ....   My idea of show business professionalism is hard-working, study your arse off and thriving to succeed. .... Exactly the opposite of what happens on these shows .... Raffaella Carra's show does even worse .... It reminds me of school recitals, plays performed at the end of a recreational ...

Mirka the heckler ....   Swiss vs. Swiss ....could have been the title, but then again little sweet "Roger" is the apple of everyone's eye or of anyone dreaming of becoming a Tennis champ, so I wouldn't dare approach that sort of caption .... Let's just say that Roger Federer's wife, Mirka, made a fool out of herself (and unfortunately her husband) last week. She heckled out, "Cry baby" to Stan Wawrinka who was giving a hard time to her husband, during a tennis match at the ATP Tour Finals in London..... stirri...

Fed himself to an anaconda ...   The new reality show "Eaten Alive", has Peta campaigners not sleeping at night...and probably the rest of the world, if by any chance it is true. On Discovery Channel, airing December 7, a man, it claims, was eaten alive by an anaconda while wearing a special "snake-proof suit" that protected him from the snake's juices ...  It is said that the snake is still alive and that Paul Rosolie would never hurt a fly ... Um, well, eh .....   HP...

Anna Oxa....Samuel Peron   I truly don't think that anyone can doubt my opinion regarding someone's dancing......true or false?!   I am going to be...umm.....true to my word.   I have always admired Anna Oxa....she is an incredible singer. I used to stand in front of a mirror and imitate her with "Donna con te".....and of course as I did with Mango's incredible "Bella d'estate" and Giorgia's silky "Gocce di Memoria".   And I was her biggest fan when she did her first "Fantastico"....now t...
